The Rotary Club of Vero Beach (Vero's 1st Club - 1926) proudly presents our 3rd Annual Rotary Kids Triathlon.  Elementary and middle school children between the ages of 6-13 participate in a Swim, Bike, and Run multi-sport youth event geared for both 1st time triathletes and seasoned competitive triathletes.  There will also be a RELAY TEAM category in both the Junior and Senior Divisions - which allows children, who may not be comfortable completing one or two of the three sport segments, to have a friend or family member (or two) complete the segment(s) that they may not wish to complete.  Also, a child who is either a novice or non-swimmer can be placed in a swim lane where they can walk on the bottom of the heated pool to complete the swim segment.  There is also an Adaptive Athlete Division for those children with a disability.

 

Under the management direction of Game On! Race Events (https://gameonraceevents.com/), our event is Safe, Fun, and Professional.  Race Central and the swim will be located at the Gifford Aquatic Center, the bike will be an out-and-back course along 43rd Avenue (closed for traffic, and within and adjacent to the Victor Hart Sr. Community Enhancement Complex), and the run/walk will be entirely within the boundaries of the Victor Hart Sr. Park.  The $25 entry fee is among the lowest in the country and all distances are short relative to all other triathlons, underscoring our objective to be all-inclusive for EVERY child. - NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY!

ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE PARTICIPANTS IN THIS KIDS TRIATHLON PROGRAM (including the FREE preparatory triathlon clinics commencing in the summer of each year.)
